We are thilled to release the FI 50: a report on the fastest growing companies in 2021 from across the Founder Institute global portolio. When there are unprecedented shifts in the world, entrepreneurs are uniquely equipped to adapt, move quickly, and build the solutions that define the future.
At the Founder Institute, we have been amazed by the impact our Alumni have made during this tumultuous time - our portfolio companies had their best year to date in 2021, with major funding rounds across 5 continents and our first IPO (Udemy) as highlights. Due to this recent growth, we can now comfortably say that FI companies have raised over $1.5 billion in funding.
This new FI50 Report aims to highlight the companies from our global portfolio that have grown the quickest over the last year, and bring attention to fast-growing businesses.
This list includes brand-name companies like Udemy (who recently had an IPO on the NASDAQ), but also fast-growing startups you may not have heard of yet across 6 continents and 18 countries.

We would also like to acknowledge that there are many other fast-growing FI Alumni that did not make the FI50 list - we had to make many tough decisions! However, we are planning now to release several regional reports in Q1 of 2022, to highlight even more of our global portfolio companies who are making waves across their startup ecosystems.
